Payments

There are three different ways to pay for your retreat program at Mountain Waters. We accept payments through our web site registration system through Paypal. For those of you who prefer to use Mastercard or Visa, you can phone our toll free number at 1-888-352-6081 and have the payment processed by our receptionist. We also accept cheques and money orders made out to Mountain Waters Retreats which can be sent to the following address:

Our Packages are priced in Canadian Dollars. For current exchange rates please follow the link to a currency converter.

Other than our couple’s packages, all of our program prices are quoted on a per person basis. The Harmonized Goods and Services Tax (HST) of 12% will be added to the quoted program price. The HST is partially refundable for our international guests and we provide a receipt and an official refund application form upon your departure.

Many of our programs include guided activities in Nature. We require all our guests who are participating in outdoor activities to sign a waiver and release of liability form before starting their program with us. As some of these activities can take place in remote locations, sometimes without quick access to medical help, these activities may be hazardous and require acknowledgement of risk by our guests.

Reservations and Deposits

Reservations can be made by completing the Reservation Form available on our website or by printing out a copy of our reservation form and sending it in to us with a cheque or money order.

You can also call us toll free at 1-888-352-6081 and complete the reservation process by phone.

All of our packages and programs require a $400 deposit. Upon receipt of this deposit we will send you a confirmation of funds received. The deposit will confirm your reservation until 45 days prior to your package date, at which time the balance of funds is due. If we do not receive full payment by this date we reserve the right to give away your reserved spot. In the case of late bookings, full payment will be required upon registration.

Cancellations and refunds

If your reservation is cancelled for whatever reason three weeks or more in advance of your retreat start date, then Mountain Waters will refund half of your total payment and apply the remainder, less a $75 administration fee, to any program of your choosing that we offer this year or next.

If your reservation is cancelled for whatever reason between 21 days and 10 days in advance of your retreat start date, then Mountain Waters will retain the full amount of your payment, less a $75 administration fee, and apply it to any program of your choosing that we offer this year or next.

Cancellations within 10 days start of retreat programs receive no refund and no retreat credit although your package may be transferred to another person of your choosing with a written letter of permission.

Should your package fail to attract minimum enrolment, Mountain Waters Retreats reserves the right to cancel the package and fully refund all funds received. Mountain Waters will offer participants the opportunity to apply these funds to a similar program offered this year or next. Please check with your airline about its cancellation policy. Mountain Waters is not responsible for travel reservations booked to attend cancelled programs.
