Driving
Nelson is located roughly half way between Calgary and Vancouver in British Columbia’s southern interior. Driving to Nelson gives you a chance to take in the spectacular mountain scenery of southeastern B.C. Feel free to contact us if you would like route suggestions to augment your trip. The following driving times assume good road conditions:

Air Travel
You can fly into either Castlegar Airport (YCG) or the International Airport in Spokane, Washington (GEG). Castlegar is a 40-minute drive from Nelson, with shuttle service available through Queen City Limousine (250-352-9829 ). Air Canada www.aircanada.ca flys into Castlegar from both Calgary and Vancouver. American visitors can fly into Spokane Airport which offers connecting flights to most U.S. destinations. A shuttle service is available to Nelson through Queen City Shuttles www.kootenayshuttle.com. Mountain Waters may also be able to arrange for guest pick-up in Spokane for larger groups.
